Saw this on Musings of a Housewife and I'm playing along:
- My childhood nickname was … Well, technically my birth certificate says Jennifer but I've never been called Jennifer unless I was in trouble. So I was Jenny growing up got shorted to Jen in college. My college friends called me "Otis" at some point and then they made fun of me and G b/c we called each other "buddy" all the time during our dating phase.
- If you want to spoil me rotten, buy me diamonds. Have to agree with Jo Lynne on this. But am also a fan of new electronic gadgets especially of the apple kind.
- The television character I most identify with is Claire (Modern Family). I think I may be as OCD as her and while her character takes it to the extreme, I find myself nodding along with her quirks. And she has a funny husband as is G but have to say G is way cuter than Phil.
- If I had a whole day to go shopping and money to spend, I would go to the mall...the one close to the city. The one that houses Apple, Nordstrom, American Girl, Sephora, Gap, Banana, Loft etc. All my favorite stores under one roof.
- The most wild and crazy thing I have ever done (that I can admit to publicly) is probably from my college days. I climbed a really tall tree on a dare (this was *the* tree the town used to decorate for Christmas - it was on the main street for all to see). I rode in a car trunk to get home from a bar. Hello? If my child did that, I'd have his/her head.
- The one thing on my bucket list that I am most eager to do is visit Australia. I would love to spend a month there.
- My family will always be loyal to each other (I hope). Family is family.
- If I could spend a day with a celebrity I would choose Ellen. I think I would be rolling with laughter and my stomach muscles would get quite a workout from all the laughing. She seems down to earth, loves to dance and have fun. My kind of person.
- In my opinion, the best invention in the history of the world is the ipad or smart phone. Steve Jobs = genius.
- When life hands me lemons, I make lemonade. I am a glass half-full kind of person.
PS: Look at my kiddo. He played his heart out at his basketball game last night. The entire team did. It was a very close game but they lost in the last 40 seconds. Disappointing and sad. They were good sports and I can't say that about the other team's parents. The way they carried on during the last period was embarrassing...you can cheer for your own team and also be a good sport about it.
So proud of his team. They can hold their heads high and be proud of their conduct on/off the court.

Happy Leap YEar Day! Only get to say that every 4 years, so I thought I better make the most of it. :-) Hope you enjoy those milkshakes or slushies.
I get that, with the sports. I was actually just talking to a parent about that today. And as long as your family walks away with their heads held high, it's good for the kids :)
I am laughing about the meme.. There are so many things that I have done that I think about and say "if they EVER...."
Oh I haven't done a meme in forever, had to play along on my blog! I would definitely love to spend a day with Ellen Degeneres - she is so awesome!
great list. I do have to say, I agree with you with lots of things. College is a wild and crazy time so glad I had that time in my life. What happens in college stays in college. LOL.
i rode in the hatch of an SUV - not quite as bad as a trunk! glad i'm not the only one tho.
